Salzburg Museum

If you plan your stay in Salzburg this summer, make sure you plan a visit to the museum of Salzburg. Full of some of the best paintings in the world, Salzburg Museum will be a special exhibition entitled “modern artists rediscovered”, which examined the work of Austrian painters between 1910 and 1945. The collection includes works from the collection Gerhard Schneider and entire generation of German and Austrian painters who were marginalized before, during and after the Nazi regime in Germany.

This exhibition will take place at the Kunsthalle “, a group that has been appropriated for each year to three very special art collections. Some of which are devoted to artists who have a special relationship in Salzburg, others address specific issues related to the history of art or history, with “artists rediscovered” applies to both.
